ABOUT

St. Philip Orthodox Church has been witnessing to the truth of Orthodox Christianity in Fort Lauderdale/Davie since the 1980s, but our Faith has been preached unchanged for 2,000 years. Orthodox Christianity is the historic and apostolic Christian Faith founded by Jesus Christ.

A Global Mosaic of Faith

Our parish is home to a multitude of cultures from around the globe: Bulgarian, Cuban, Egyptian, Eritrean, Ethiopian, Greek, Lebanese, Palestinian, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Syrian, Ukrainian, American, and more. We are a community with a mosaic of cultures celebrating:

“One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all.” — Ephesians 4:5-6

Experience Orthodox Worship

The heartbeat of our God-centered community is the cycle of worship services. Many have called Orthodox worship a “sensory” experience, so we invite you to come and hear our beautiful a cappella choir, smell our incense, touch our iconography, and most importantly, make a life-changing connection with our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ.
